Bam! Boom! Pow! At 92 years old, Catwoman star Julie Newmar just reminded everyone why she’s still a star. Arriving at The Hollywood Show in Burbank, California, the actress has aged gracefully, proving that you don’t need to have work done to look good at 92. In her first public appearance of 2026, she wore a green knit sweater and bright red lipstick, with her gray curls pulled back with a headband. Even at 92, she could easily play the character that made her famous today.
“She’s amazing,” said event organizer David Elkouby. “She didn’t stop from the beginning until the very last person. She didn’t get up from her chair. It’s really a testament to her. She was there for the fans, and this was it.”

Newmar felt the love from fans too. “Thanks to all the wonderful people I met at Hollywood Show. Thank you everyone for being there,” she posted on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself holding a Catwoman poster.
Fans were taken aback by her beauty and left comments like: “Still my crush!” and “You look amazing!”
Even though Julie Newmar is consider the Catwoman, she actually only played the character in 13 episodes of Batman ’66. Today, she’s mentioned before or alongside the many other actors who played the character, including Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Eartha Kitt and Zoë Kravitz.
Asked in 2023 who was the Catwoman after her, she didn’t hesitate to answer: Michelle Pfeiffer was “far and away the best actress.”
Newmar left the role after just two seasons due to a film commitment at the time, handing the role off to Eartha Kitt. Decades later, she actually returned to voice Catwoman in 2016 and 2017 animated films.
Even at 92, Newar proves she is and will always be Catwoman.
