Over the years, the business mogul-turned-politician has compiled a list of actors he “hates,” but he has made it abundantly clear that he despises these 10 celebrities.
Jussie Smollett
Following a staged hate crime, Smollett faced public backlash from the industry and some of his Empire co-stars. Trump, then in his first period, also chimed in, calling Smollett a “third-rate actor” and a “disgrace” for trying to incriminate the MAGA movement in the event.
Samuel L. Jackson
Although not as strongly disliked as other actors on our list, Trump has mentioned that he finds Jackson “boring” and believes the Pulp Fiction star does too many TV commercials.
George Clooney
Mr. Trump has repeatedly called Clooney a “fake movie actor,” speaking against Clooney’s frequent anti-MAGA political discourses. The displeasure is mutual, as Clooney has mentioned he doesn’t really care what the President thinks of him.
Taylor Swift
Not an actress per se, but Trump’s dislike for Taylor Swift (and the entire “Swiftie” movement) became clear during the 2024 presidential election. The then-ex-president made a post on Truth Social where he confessed he “hated” Swift after she voiced her support for Kamala Harris.

In 2007, long before he entered the White House, Trump was among the celebrities who piled on Sarah Jessica Parker, implying she was superficial and supporting Maxim magazine, which named her the “Unsexiest Woman Alive.”
Whoopi Goldberg
President Trump frequently singles out The View’s Whoopi Goldberg, calling her “disgusting” due to her candid political commentary, and even criticizing her comedic routine as being “dirty.”

At the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, Streep heavily criticized Donald Trump, calling him a “bully” for apparently mocking a disabled New York Times reporter, Serge Kovaleski. Trump fired back at her, calling Streep “one of the most overrated actresses in Hollywood” and a “Hillary flunky who lost big.”
Rosie O’Donnell
Comedian Rosie O’Donnell has been in Trump’s sights since before he ever became a politician. Trump has confessed he had previously made hurtful remarks about O’Donnell’s appearance, confessing that she was the “only” female actress he disliked on looks alone during the first Republican Presidential Debate of 2015.
