Meet Cyrena Anne Quast. A 35-year-old woman who was arrested on August 30 after allegedly stealing two double packs of power tool batteries worth around $580 from a store in Minnesota.
An employee had reportedly flagged her for a similar incident just days earlier, which led to the charge and her booking at the Wright County jail.
Once the internet got hold of Quast’s mugshot, the theft itself barely mattered. What people are talking about is her uncanny resemblance to our favorite Bronx bombshell. With her hair pulled into a high ponytail paired with large silver hoops, Quast’s resemblance to Jennifer Lopez is startling.

A 2022 study published in Cell Reports found that unrelated lookalikes often share chunks of the same DNA. The genetic overlap doesn’t stop at physical features; it often extends to quirks and mannerisms as well.
The study also said that “Because the human population is now 7.9 billion, these look-alike repetitions are increasingly likely to occur.”
What’s Next for Cyrena Anne Quast
A prior 2024 conviction has compounded Quast’s alleged theft total to around $747, pushing it past the felony threshold.
She’s currently facing a felony theft charge filed in Wright County District Court. Bail was set at $15,000, or $0 with conditions. No conviction has been entered yet.
Hollywood lookalike status aside, she’s still presumed innocent until the courts say otherwise.
