Kim Kardashian’s latest confession isn’t about fashion, Kanye West, family drama, or who wore what to the Met Gala. It’s about failing the California Bar Exam, and blaming the psychics who promised her she’d pass.
In a TikTok video from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party, Kim vented on the phone, telling a friend, “Four psychics told me I would pass. They’re all full of s**t. Pathological liars!” It’s the kind of moment that feels straight out of a reality show, but this time, the disappointment was real. “Don’t ever trust them again,” she warned, clearly done with the mystical advice business.
It’s not the first time Kim has been transparent about her legal journey. Back in 2018, she joined California’s apprenticeship program, a route that skips law school and instead places aspiring lawyers under practicing attorneys. She’s spent the last six years studying with a San Francisco law firm, clocking in more study hours than most of us spend bingeing Netflix.

Still, even with all that effort, she came up short this time. But give her credit. She’s not backing down. On Instagram, she told her followers, “I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.” It’s a self-aware jab at both her public image and her persistence. “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up—just more studying and even more determination.”
That attitude isn’t new for Kim. Her father, Robert Kardashian, was part of O.J. Simpson’s defense team in the 1990s, and she’s clearly inherited his drive. She’s already proven her commitment to criminal justice reform by helping free Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving life for a nonviolent drug offense. She’s also backed programs like “90 Days to Freedom” and the First Step Act, initiatives that aim to give people a second chance instead of a lifetime behind bars.
So yes, psychics failed Kim Kardashian, but law might be where she truly belongs. She might not have her license yet, but between fashion weeks, filming, and raising four kids, she’s still chasing the dream that honors her father’s legacy and her own determination.
