As kids, few things seemed as exciting as going on an adventure in the Mystery Machine with Scooby and the gang. Of course, as adults, our taste in adventure has evolved, and this Lamborghini Urus, coloured in the iconic Mystery Machine hues, is the perfect vehicle to satisfy our need for speed and luxury—with a dash of added nostalgia.

The American rapper and record producer Keith Farrelle Cozart, better known by his stage name Chief Keef, is the proud owner of this exclusive, sleek and powerful SUV. To say that West Coast Customs did a flawless job recreating the iconic look of the cartoon van would be an understatement. From the body’s vivid blue and green colouring to the psychedelic flower decals on its exterior and the familiar “The Mystery Machine” insignia on the passenger windows, they’ve pulled off a pretty convincing replica of the iconic car from Scooby-Doo. Not to forget the striking orange and lime green rims that continue the play of vibrant colour down below.
But then you also have the Lamborghini Urus’s top-notch performance features and contemporary comforts. We’re talking a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, churning out a staggering 657 horsepower. To put that in perspective, it’s faster than a lot of the sports cars available today, and it’s undoubtedly faster than Scooby and the crew could ever dream of from the actual Mystery Machine.

Now, you may be curious about the price tag. The cost of a Lamborghini Urus alone is more than $200,000 USD. But you’re looking at an even heftier investment when you factor in a few thousand more for the customising. But for those who can afford it, we’re sure the stares this Mystery Machine-inspired SUV attracts on the road will make it all worthwhile. Unfortunately, Chief Keef has since changed the vehicle’s exterior to a Hot Wheels livery.
But what are your thoughts? Does the Urus look good with its Mystery Machine-inspired design? Check out the video and images below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
